Sales code BGJ is for the RWAL rear drum equipped vehicles. I have had to use them when ordering 'special' or restricted parts from Chrysler. STAR is the Chrysler (dealer-only) service and parts assistance center. A bad sensor could be sending a bad signal, or the wires to the pump could be shorted? Have you done your troubleshooting properly? I'd hate to see you replace this module only to have the next one have the pump constantly run. Never done it, but I've contemplated it in case I did have to bleed an ABS Pump. I "guess" its possible you could do a panic stop on a gravel road somewhere to activate the ABS and the pump activation would bleed itself, and then go back and bleed the brakes again to get that air pumped out of the ABS Pump out of the rest of the lines. So, my suspicion is, the new/used ABS module will have air in the pump that will have to be bled, and that can only been done by using an electronic tool to talk to the module on the CAN Bus and activate the pump, but I do NOT know that for a fact. Later ABS modules, you could bleed the brakes the old fashioned way and get out all the air, but that was assuming the fluid trapped in the ABS pump had no air in it. Earlier ABS modules required this just to bleed the brakes or anytime air was introduced into the brakes, to get them properly bleed. Often bleeding the ABS module requires activating the pump using an electronic tool that talks to it on the CAN Bus.
